Grout Selection

Grout issues are the #1 complaint by consumers regarding ceramic tile applications. Much of this bad reputation comes from old techniques of making grout and limited color selection. Now the manufacturers have stepped up to the plate and resolved many of consumers concerns. C&O Tile recommends using Laticrete brand Greenguard certified grouts. LATICRETE SpectraLOCK PRO Grout offers the high performance, color uniformity, durability and stain resistance of an epoxy grout with extraordinary ease of use.
LATICRETE® PermaColor™ Grout offers the maximum performance available in a cement-based grout, providing consistent color and Microban® to resist stain-causing mold and mildew.
LATICRETE 1500 Sanded Grout For dense, durable grout joints between 1/16" (1.5 mm) and 1/2" (12 mm). Designed for use with LATICRETE 1776 Grout Enhancer or water. When mixed with LATICRETE 1776 Grout Enhancer, LATICRETE 1500 Sanded Grout eliminates shading and blotching caused by minerals and organic particles commonly found in domestic water, and inhibits the growth of stain-causing mold and mildew in grout joint with Microban antimicrobial product protection. Meets ANSI A118.7 shrinkage and compressive strength requirements.
LATICRETE 1600 Unsanded Grout For dense, durable grout joints less than 1/8" (3 mm). Designed for use with LATICRETE 1776 Grout Enhancer or water. When LATICRETE 1600 Unsanded Grout is mixed with LATICRETE 1776 Grout Enhancer, it eliminates shading and blotching caused by minerals and organic particles commonly found in domestic water, and inhibits the growth of stain-causing mold and mildew in grout joint with Microban antimicrobial product protection. Applicable standard: ANSI A118.6.
